orangutan Posted April 4, 2007 at 10:22 AM Report Posted April 4, 2007 at 10:22 AM Hi, Please could anyone give me advice about BNU deadlines and how important it is to get your application in early. I want to go there to study for a year from September 2007, but can only go if I get a scholarship. I won't know if I've got the scholarship until mid-May and the BNU deadline is 30th May. I should be able to get my application in on time, but obviously it will be very last-minute. I don't want to pay the application fee before I know if I've got the scholarship and can go there. Does anyone know if they normally get over-subscribed, or have any personal experience of applying just before the deadline and still getting in? All advice gratefully received. Thank you. Quote
adrianlondon Posted April 4, 2007 at 04:09 PM Report Posted April 4, 2007 at 04:09 PM If you miss the deadline you're screwed - BNU is quite strict. However, if you make the deadline you'll get in. They'll make space. I think. Or ... the application fee is only around 400RMB. Apply, and if you don't get the scholarship, just write it off. Quote
