saiyo Posted April 9, 2007 at 07:39 PM Report Posted April 9, 2007 at 07:39 PM Recently, I have been thinking why MIT-Sloan and other Ivy League schools are pairing with Chinese universities to operate MBA programs there. Catering for the growing demand for management talents is one thing, but what is the economic drive? Don't recall any pieces detailing the financial arrangements behind. Anyone here has some insight? Thanks in advance. Quote
imron Posted April 10, 2007 at 12:32 AM Report Posted April 10, 2007 at 12:32 AM They get to run exchange programs (for teachers and students), they get an alumni network, and they also get a large amount of influence regarding the standard and type of education on offer. All of these things are of course inter-related, and provide long-term benefits to MIT Sloan. Quote
