Songyi Posted April 12, 2007 at 05:53 PM Report Posted April 12, 2007 at 05:53 PM My thought is that a salesperson is the person that is knowledgeable about the products in their area (such as shoes, men's clothing, women's clothing, electronics, etc) and found at a department store while a cashier/clerk is more often found at a supermarket and is the person people give money to in order to pay for their items.
