I'm doing second year Chinese and I have an oral exam coming up on Monday and I wasn't able to consult with my teachers in time due to illness. I have to give a speech about my (fictional) trip to Beijing, and I have to use the following structures: 过，是 . . . 的， 除了 . . . 以外， 一 . . . 就 ， 要是 . . . 就，来/去，得， 的话。 We are being marked on accuracy and complexity of structures. This is what I got so far. Could someone please correct/spice it up for me? 我去年去过中国旅行。 这是我第一次在中国旅行。 我是跟朋友一起去的。 咱们一直呆到三星期才回国了。 咱们坐飞机得出发过十二月二号到十二月二十号是在北京。 咱们一到北京就去旅馆睡觉。 因为我没记住上闹钟，所以咱们差不多起不来。 咱们出去的时候，旅游者的汽车是早已出发的。 所以，从故宫咱们坐出租汽车。 司机讲的故事我听不懂。 咱们先去过看故宫。咱们都觉得那是很有意思。 然后咱们去全聚德吃过很好吃的烤鸭。 听说全聚德是北京的最老还最有名的烤鸭店。 除了去全聚德以外，那天晚上咱们也去过电影院看中文的电影。 电影里的对话太快了，不过电影有中文的字幕。 所以我看得懂一点儿。 要是我今年努力得学习汉字，我就明年可能看得懂。 我明年去中国的花， 我要说的话完了。 Would highly appreciate it.
