johnmck Posted April 26, 2007 at 12:40 PM Report Posted April 26, 2007 at 12:40 PM Hi, I will be coming to Beijing for 4 days in May (12th - 15th) for work. Saturday, Monday and Tuesday are pretty much booked-up which leaves me free on Sunday for shopping (and sight-seeing). I would like to go to the Wangfujing Bookstore to buy some Chinese books and to also go to the pearl market. Will they be open on a Sunday or am I going to have to try to rearrange my Saturday? Also it has been a long time since I have been to Beijing and I have forgotten the address of the pearl market, does anyone know where I can find it in Beijing? Thanks, John. Quote

cdn_in_bj Posted April 26, 2007 at 01:54 PM Report Posted April 26, 2007 at 01:54 PM Hi John, I guess you are referring to Hongqiao Market (红桥市场). It's on Chongwenmenwai Dajie, across the street from Tian Tan (Temple of Heaven Park). And yes they're open on Sundays. Quote
