JimmySeal Posted May 4, 2007 at 03:55 PM Report Posted May 4, 2007 at 03:55 PM Hello, I am new here, and new to learning Chinese. There is a (simplified) character I have been seeing that I am unable to identify. It looks like 亚 with a stroke drooping down to the left like the lower part of 厂. If anyone could tell me what the traditional version of it is or how to pronounce it, that would be all the information I need. Much obliged. Quote
zhwj Posted May 4, 2007 at 05:11 PM Report Posted May 4, 2007 at 05:11 PM 严=嚴 (yán) One of my dictionaries lists this under the 一 radical, the other has it under 亚. Quote
