kudra Posted May 7, 2007 at 03:35 AM Report Posted May 7, 2007 at 03:35 AM Anybody know of a good online free Russian course? Didn't find anything at fsi or at the Open Courseware Consortium. Ideally it would be mp3 with perhaps a course text pdf. Thanks. Quote
Pravit Posted May 8, 2007 at 05:01 AM Report Posted May 8, 2007 at 05:01 AM None that I can think of, but I have heard excellent things about the Penguin Russian Course, which can be had for a pretty low price at most bookstores. I used Russian for Beginners by Duff and Makaroff, which is decent, but not the greatest, and Introductory Russian Grammar by Stilman, which is a very solid textbook - check used bookstores for it and snap it up if you see it at a decent price.
