唯一 vs. 惟一

My textbook introduces this word as 惟一, and then i noticed that the sogou first suggestion for "weiyi" is 唯一.

A search on baidu yields 38mn hits for 唯一, and only 14mn hits for 惟一.

A quick search on the matter seems to suggest that 惟一 is the "correct" one (I'm not too sure about this, because my reading skills aren't exactly top-notch.)

Is there any real difference, or should I just regard this as two alternate spellings, like reflection/reflexion?
