YuehanHao Posted May 9, 2007 at 03:20 AM Report Posted May 9, 2007 at 03:20 AM Recently, I watched the movie Little Red Flowers (看上去很美). Near the end of the movie, when Qiang is running back through the park near the school, he comes upon a parade where the marchers are playing symbols and other percussion instruments. One cannot see much of the marchers other than the big red flowers or wreathes with which they are decked. It seemed clear to me there must be a link between the big red flowers in the parade and the little red flowers the students earned in school, but I could not make sense of the scene. Someone suggested to me that the parade was for model workers, in which case the interpretation seems fairly clear. I am just wondering if the suggestion of the marchers' being model workers is correct. 谢谢, 约翰好! Quote
