Chinese online text database?

Hi

My teacher is looking for adequate text material four our class and recalls that he found a really good webpage by accident several years ago when searching for a text.

The page contained an enormous amont of different texts in chinese, ranging from children stories to advanced political texts. He said it was really amazing, so it has to be something really special I guess

Anyone knows a data base like this one or anything similar to it?
