Just wondering if any of you have used those electronic handheld C-E/E-C dictionaries which also double as teaching aids? Most of these are geared towards Chinese speakers learning English, but there are a few that are designed for foreigners learning Chinese. The types I've seen which fall into the latter tend to be quite expensive (2000-3000 RMB) and I'm wondering if they're really worth it, or just another overpriced electronic gadget.

I'm just exploring my options before I hand over the $99 US or so for a Pleco license...
