chinese wikipedia

I'm using anonymouse to access wikipedia, but the Chinese language sites are not working for me (other languages seem to be working fine).

Anyway to solve this problem?

If you're using firefox, do a search for the plug-in Gladder - it works great for me, and I just checked and it functions with Chinese wikipedia. Anything it doesn't automatically send through a proxy you can add to its list.

could you be so kind as to give me a link? lazy me can't seem to find one. don't have the time to browse the web, need to prepare a 90 minute lecture on "democracy"´, basically, and want to use wiki as a dictionary for a few special terms...thank you so much!

here. You'll need to be using firefox, then click on the install button. If you still can't get to the pages you need, right-click on the little ladder icon that will appear bottom right of your browser window and click on the url of the problem site.

ok, i've got it installed but i don't know what you mean by "and click on the url of the problem site", when i right-click on the ladder, a whole menu pops up, can't input the url anywhere. and yet again: sorry...

the chinese wiki just isn't loading, and the menu shows anonymouse, on which i clicked, but that didn't help.

The URL of the site you are currently visiting should be on that menu - so go to the site that's failing to load, right click the ladder, click the url. Works for me

things are starting to pick up, roddy, thanks. but still all i get is 错误的标题 and I can’t click on any of the links not even 返回到首页， or the news or anything. Doesn’t seem to be blocked, though. Very strange.

select the language as 'chinese' and 'start browser' (on the left hand side)

it workd great here on firefox, should work on IE as well, I don't have one around to try it with...
