going to tsinghua for one year, what do i need to bring?

The small kitchen you saw is in the AB rooms, and in my time you just got a microwave in it. You can cook there, but the downside is that your whole room might smell like food after that (haha, and one time the smoke alarm went off and it took one woman a long time to come and ask politely if everything is ok :lol: )

In single rooms, you can't cook inside the room, as the the kitchen is just a tap and a cupboard, but there are big common kitchen room on every even number floor (with electricity, tap and large surfaces). If you prefer that one, make sure to ask to live on an even floor and next to the kitchen (only on one side of the hallway) when you check in, for your convenience (otherwise you'll have to carry your cooking stuff back and forth).
