Is this an OK Chinese name?

Hey,

My father has recently started working in Shanghai and was simply appointed a name for his visa application through his company. Anyway, I don't know too much about Chinese names, however what he was given doesn't sound all that masculine from my understanding. I'm interested in what you all think of this name for a male, as I'm not entirely sure and am trying to find out.
