Pengyou Posted June 15, 2007 at 01:04 PM Report Posted June 15, 2007 at 01:04 PM Does anyone know a website that has the hours for the border crossing to HK and to Macao? I am especially interested in an official website. I have googled but keep getting travel agents websites and I don't know how up to date they are. Thanks in advance Quote
pandaxiongmao Posted June 16, 2007 at 04:44 AM Report Posted June 16, 2007 at 04:44 AM This is from 2005, but seems to still be accurate as of now: http://www.yearbook.gov.hk/2005/en/13_09.htm From my own experience: The hours at Luohu between HK and Shenzhen are from 6:30 to 24:00. If you are in a car, huangguang (sp?) checkpoint is open 24 hours. Otherwise 7:00-22:00 for the other car checkpoints like Wenjindu. Quote
flameproof Posted June 17, 2007 at 08:41 AM Report Posted June 17, 2007 at 08:41 AM HK from/to Macau will be 24 hours, as you have ferries going all night. HK from/to CN - the above is correct and there is nothing to add. Macau from/to CN (googlegooglegooglegoogle) I found: There are two gateways available, the Barrier Gate and the COTAI Frontier Post. The Barrier Gate operates from 7:00 AM to midnight. The COTAI Frontier Post at the Taipa-Coloane Reclaimed Area operates from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. http://www.macautourism.gov.mo/en/info/get2macau.php Quote
889 Posted June 17, 2007 at 12:37 PM Report Posted June 17, 2007 at 12:37 PM You don't need your own car to cross at Huanggang: there's 24-hour public transport to Mongkok and other areas of Hong Kong. Quote
