lucvileyn Posted June 20, 2007 at 11:44 AM Report Posted June 20, 2007 at 11:44 AM Hello, I'm looking for some time now for a program for Mac OS X en Chinese Handwriting Input that works system wide. And I prefer a Universal Binary. I.e. Wenlin works only in Wenlin, Penpower is not universal. I have a Wacom Tablet and sometimes use ChinesePen from NJ star on PC. Your suggestions would be most helpful. Quote
ciaocibai Posted June 20, 2007 at 12:31 PM Report Posted June 20, 2007 at 12:31 PM I don't know of such a program off hand, however one option you could consider is installing Parallels Desktop and simply running the Windows apps that are available. It may well work. I haven't tried with any handwriting recognition software, but on my MacBook (1.86, 1 gig of ram) most things run pretty smoothly. I would be interested to hear if you find something good that works though. Good luck. Quote
lucvileyn Posted October 15, 2007 at 11:27 AM Author Report Posted October 15, 2007 at 11:27 AM Penpower will release a new version for the mac somewhere at the end of november. However they did not reply on my question of pricing, will it be universal, will it work with other tablets? Quote
