This is for people who browse lots of Chinese sites:

Do you find that newer Chinese sites (Taiwan, China, HK, etc) are using Unicode more rather than gb(k) or Big5? I don't look at many sites, but all of the major sites i look at are not using Unicode yet.

Why would that be? or are most people actually starting to adopt the Unicode character set?

I like Unicode bettter, actually. I think the appearance is much cleaner, and the codes are easier to handle. Plus, you can change the font size through internet explorer.

unicode is like all embracing...you can have a line of many languages and script and still display it properly without having to switch encoding just to be able to view a specific language...

Long live unicode

I just think it's a trouble to switch my website (and thus upload them again!) to unicode. My website is in BIG5 encoding.
