imron Posted June 26, 2007 at 02:52 PM Report Posted June 26, 2007 at 02:52 PM Wired is running an interesting article with pictures from inside various chinese factories, ranging from assembly lines to cafeterias to apartment complexes. It makes for quite interesting viewing. Quote
muyongshi Posted June 26, 2007 at 02:59 PM Report Posted June 26, 2007 at 02:59 PM That is a very interesting picture. Makes you feel kind of lost in nothingness in way. I bet some psychologist could have a hay day about loss of identity in that place. Quote
david1978 Posted June 26, 2007 at 03:22 PM Report Posted June 26, 2007 at 03:22 PM Burtynsky!! This guy is an amazing photographer from Canada, I've been following his work for years now. I've actually seen massive prints of these photos in a NY gallery last year: shocking. Another photographer you want to check out if you dig Burtynsky is Michael Wolf: http://www.photomichaelwolf.com/intro/index.html Cheers! Quote
adrianlondon Posted June 26, 2007 at 04:12 PM Report Posted June 26, 2007 at 04:12 PM I met Michael Wolf when he went to the opening of his "Architecture of Density" exhibition at the photography gallery in 798 (Beijing), sometime last Autumn. I mainly went for the free wine and to buy his "Bastard Chairs of China" poster. And because I love the 798 art district. Quote
