Shelley Posted June 25, 2010 at 02:34 PM Report Posted June 25, 2010 at 02:34 PM I am 52 and have been studing Chinese now for about 25 years. i have taken a mix of private lesson, evening classes and self study, i have gained a pass at our university's evening class standard at intermidete leval. i am sure i could go on and do advanced, but i am learning for pleasure, i don't feel the need for exams so i am back to self study. i don't think age makes any difference at all if you have been keeping the brain active all your life and you enjoy what you are doing. At the evening class there people from 18 - about 60 years of age. If you use your brain it remains flexible. Use it or lose it:) Shelley 1 Quote
