Huang Jialuo Posted June 28, 2007 at 02:58 AM Report Posted June 28, 2007 at 02:58 AM Hi, I have a question... When applying to Tsinghua University, I was asked to specify 'Employer or School Affiliated'. I said the name of my mom's company. However, as of mid-July to early September I will be working in the USA for another employer. Will this be problematic when applying for my student visa? Or is it normal to change the employer's details when filling in the visa documents? Employer Affiliated means the one I am currently working for, right?? Thanks. Quote
mr.stinky Posted June 28, 2007 at 03:33 AM Report Posted June 28, 2007 at 03:33 AM i think it means the employer or school you will be affiliated with in china. my JW-202 filled out by ynnu has "none" in the "employer or institution affiliated" box. ( 工作或学习单位 ) they probably should have filled in the name of the uni to be attended in china, but it was approved regardless. Quote
Huang Jialuo Posted June 28, 2007 at 03:43 AM Author Report Posted June 28, 2007 at 03:43 AM What does ynnu mean? Anyway thanks for your input mr.stinky (it feels kind of awkward saying it) ;) I guess the University will just put the Employer Affiliated that I wrote in the Application Form. I hope it does not become an Issue with the consulate of China though, haha. Quote
mr.stinky Posted June 28, 2007 at 03:49 AM Report Posted June 28, 2007 at 03:49 AM yunnan (ab)normal university. an employer listing may be a problem (just guessing, maybe, i don't know). could the application be rejected, with a note saying you need a work/business visa? need to see what others here have on their application forms.
