hskflashcards Posted July 4, 2007 at 05:23 AM Report Posted July 4, 2007 at 05:23 AM Hi forums folks- I have used the database from chinese-forums.com and from a few other places on the web to make a site for the HSK vocabulary lists. Anyone can view and download the lists in several different file formats, and registered users can edit the list entries online. I'm very interested in your input regarding the site. It's called HSK Flashcards. http://www.hskflashcards.com/ Jake Quote
roddy Posted July 4, 2007 at 08:26 AM Report Posted July 4, 2007 at 08:26 AM Quick note on these - the lists are complete, have part of speech info and good English translations, and are downloadable in a number of formats. I'd almost suggest they're better than mine, but Jake hasn't got a funky search function like me. Well worth a look though. Quote
Courtney Posted July 11, 2007 at 01:36 AM Report Posted July 11, 2007 at 01:36 AM Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! To Jake and Roddy both. I just joined the site--in part just to say thankyou for putting together these HSK lists. I'm learning on my own right now and I spent a looong time Googling for complete lists of HSK vocabulary. I really appreciate Jake's because it is the only actual "list" I've seen that's easily viewable as a whole. I'm also quite grateful for Roddy's because it really helps me parcel out characters into various sound groupings. Also, Roddy's is great for looking up characters in a text I'm reading to see if they're worth learning or not (I'm trying to read some political news sites that above my level right now.) My character knowledge is all over the board because of the way I learned in college, so these sites really help me narrow down what I need to know. Quote
