Initially I didn't look at the enlarged image, just the small thumbnail, and I didn't see that the middle vertical stroke (what becomes the right-hand vertical stroke of 耳) extends so far. Maybe it's an attempt to duplicate an existing ancient Chinese character into something fancy[to please someone who's oblivious to the Chinese language]? Badly modified character. Or maybe the creator is trying to combine different Chinese calligraphic styles into one? Quote
