xiovn Posted July 10, 2007 at 12:00 PM Report Posted July 10, 2007 at 12:00 PM I made this to my students to learn Characters. Many times my students asked me why the characters are written THAT way. most of time i couldnt give them a proper answer. then i found this book called "Han Zi Wang Guo". According to the character origin in this book i pick up 265 characters, in 13 category (according to the book-human and human body, mountain and water, animals, cars.etc). and i give each of them the modern Chinese meaning and use. Now i feel i can tell my students why the characters are written in THAT way. You can view or download the PDF file here: http://www.athenschinese.com/studymaterials/chinesecharacter265.pdf hope it will help you with your study. Quote

roddy Posted July 10, 2007 at 04:03 PM Report Posted July 10, 2007 at 04:03 PM Never used NPCR, so don't know if the above linked documents are any good - they don't look great, no tones on the pinyin, etc, but someone might want to take a look. Quote
