haton Posted July 7, 2008 at 07:58 PM Author Report Posted July 7, 2008 at 07:58 PM Hello, Pingrid users and all, Following Stephan's suggestions, I have been working on a major upgrade of Pingrid. It is available for download at: http://ehaton.blogspot.com New game features include: - a new learning model based on spaced repetition, - option to drill new words - option to use the individual characters of words - 'Open' command allowing to switch from one word list to another. Pingrid maintains a database of all learned words. - a 'Font' menu allowing to change appearance; and 'Random font' game Enjoy! Quote

Guest realmayo Posted September 2, 2008 at 05:40 PM Report Posted September 2, 2008 at 05:40 PM Hi, thanks a lot for Pingrid -- I think it's excellent. One thing I wanted to ask -- it displays the pinyin tones awkwardly, is there a way to change that font (rather than the font for the characters)? Quote
haton Posted September 2, 2008 at 07:00 PM Author Report Posted September 2, 2008 at 07:00 PM Hello realmayo, thanks for the bug report, Actually, pinyin is displayed using the system standard font. I assumed it would always cover all characters. It seems it is not the case. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I'll try to correct it in a future release. E. Quote
