I just changed 使用速成汉语 to 实用速成汉语, I have never used Wikis before, I thinks it’s 好玩的/ interesting.

Hey gato I am thinking about moving those pesky discussion links and making them footnotes, what do you think?

I can't get it to work quite right though as I only wan the number to appear next to the textbook title and then the footnote with the link at the bottom of the page...

It's very easy to add footnotes. Just enclose your footnote with [noparse][footnote] and [/footnote][/noparse] and it'll automatically format the footnote for you. See the footnotes I put in the main "Books" article.

That's what I did but it left the entire text up next to the number...

You probably forgot to add [noparse][/footnote] [/noparse]to end the footnote.

That can't be it because the footnote number appeared as well and was linked to the bottom properly so...

whatever it was that was annoying...

DO IT YOURSELF! I don't know the book but add it if you would recommend it. Put it in the appropriate section and if you have any sort of link for it add it!

I saw that NPCR has CDs as well as DVDs. Is the content the same? Can I just use one or the other (not necessary to use both)?

It’s said by Beijing Language & Culture University Press that the content in the CDs and in the DVDs is the same, we ourselves have not ever unpacked and checked the multimedia materials though.

The DVDs have only the dialogues performed by actors, while the CDs have the whole lessons!

I think you get the dialogues on the CDs as well, but on the DVDs you get the videos where the whole conversation is enacted.

It is quite cool, but not indispensable. Nice to put a face to the characters, though.
