Ian_Lee Posted April 13, 2004 at 07:59 PM Report Posted April 13, 2004 at 07:59 PM Chinese cuisines are mainly divided into four regions: Cantonese, Shanghaiese, Beijing and Sichuanese. There are also 2nd-tier regional cuisines which I have heard/tried that include: Hangzhou, Chaozhou, Hainan, Taiwan, Fujian, Hunan, Hakka, Shandong, Yunnan, Northeast and Xinjiang. But what about other regions? Do provinces like Anhui or Shanxi have their own regional cuisines? What dishes are they famous for? Quote
