I didn't try it yet, but I think that you should reverse stroke order as well. It seems to me that word order isn't so important here. The important thing is, that you write "pictures". And we know that right side of brain is responsible for art and creativity (not to mention intuition). Writing characters in reverse way is both, artistic and creative (at least your brain can understand it in this way). Artistic because you write "pictures" (these are not characters anymore, at least not in a way that brain knows them) and creative because you write them in your own way (creativity!) and put a lot of brain power in it (I can imagine that after writing only one line you could be very exhausted).
