qinxiaohu Posted July 23, 2007 at 06:38 AM Report Posted July 23, 2007 at 06:38 AM When I bought my Tmobile Wing I was told it is possible to put it into Chinese but I've looked all over the net and no luck finding any information on how to get it to display Chinese. The T Mobile Wing runs on the Windows mobile 6 operating system maybe there is a way to configure Windows mobile 6 to display and input Chinese? If anyone has any answers please advise. Quote
Crivens200 Posted July 24, 2007 at 04:01 AM Report Posted July 24, 2007 at 04:01 AM You need to install a piece of software to allow you to read chinese characters. I think there are a few pieces of software that allow you to do this. I use CE Star. Quote
qinxiaohu Posted July 24, 2007 at 03:50 PM Author Report Posted July 24, 2007 at 03:50 PM Thank you very much. I downloaded CE Star Trial into my phone and it won't run, it says it's not a valid Windows Mobile application. Do you know how to install it? Quote
Crivens200 Posted July 25, 2007 at 02:56 AM Report Posted July 25, 2007 at 02:56 AM Umm - I think you need to move the cab file on to your phone and run it there. If that doesn't work, maybe try loading it from your computer - ie make sure your phone is in sync mode with your computer and then run the program. Also, check out this web site: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ Quote
atitarev Posted August 8, 2007 at 09:58 PM Report Posted August 8, 2007 at 09:58 PM If it's not a cab or arm file the software is usually installed from a desktop PC, which is synchronised with your Pocket PC. You need MS ActiveSync, usually a Pocket PC comes with a disk for it. I have Windows Mobile 5.0 but I don't think the setup method is any different. Quote
bryce1 Posted August 29, 2009 at 02:30 AM Report Posted August 29, 2009 at 02:30 AM Has anybody had success with this? I just bought a T-mobile HTC Wing with Windows Mobile 6 and was wondering if others were able to successfully install Chinese input/display Thanks! Quote
