7jason7 Posted April 15, 2004 at 06:03 AM Report Posted April 15, 2004 at 06:03 AM Hi, Has anyone over thirty years of age gone to China to study for approximately one year only? I would appreciate hearing about your experience. Is it only people right out of college who go to China? Thanks. Quote

Dirk Posted April 22, 2004 at 12:31 PM Report Posted April 22, 2004 at 12:31 PM I started studying chinese at Yunnan Universiyy, about 2 months ago. And beeing at the age of 38 I am not the oldest in my class. I had no problems at all. Neither with the aestern nor asian students. The age doesn't matter at all. It's very easy/no problem to gety into contact/party with the other students asian or western ,evebn when they are at the age of 18. Quote
