CheukMo Posted August 13, 2007 at 03:44 AM Report Posted August 13, 2007 at 03:44 AM I used to eat yuk sung or meat fur with some HKnese friends in college. I've searched the net and the site and can't find anything. It was finely cut pork like hair and it was somewhat sweet. Any information you could provide would be appreciated. Quote

adrianlondon Posted August 13, 2007 at 03:11 PM Report Posted August 13, 2007 at 03:11 PM ... often called Pork Floss. You can get it in the Singaporean chain "Bread Talk". I know there's one in Beijing but I don't know about other mainland cities. Quote
Gary Soup Posted August 23, 2007 at 02:11 PM Report Posted August 23, 2007 at 02:11 PM Here in San Francisco, most Chinese markets sell it. Are you in TX? I imagine the Chinese population in the Houston and Dallas metro areas would be large enough to have markets carrying it. Quote

I imagine the Chinese population in the Houston and Dallas metro areas would be large enough to have markets carrying it. I found some at a local asian food store so I bought two containers of it. They had Yuk Sung and Yuk Fu made by the same company in the same type of container. The only difference was that the writing on the Yuk Sung was red and the Yuk Fu was in blue. They looked identical otherwise. I bought the Yuk Sung as I know I like it. I also bought some spicy noodles, some new chopsticks, Joss paper and hell money... 卓武 Quote
