skylee Posted August 18, 2007 at 12:53 PM Report Posted August 18, 2007 at 12:53 PM It was an on-line competition held by Cathay Pacific. I think the winning entries are worth a look -> http://www.welovehongkong.hk/index.php?action=Result Most people love HK because of its skyline/harbour, its cafes and food, the Star Ferry, the spirit of the people, the freedom and opportunities, the tram/MTR/Octopus card, etc. I particularly like these -> 我愛香港,因香港人永不放棄! 我愛香港的公共屋邨 ] 秀麗的中文繁體字 精英大師-香港精神 沒有 『八達通』 的日子 香港的排隊文化 Quote
gato Posted August 18, 2007 at 02:38 PM Report Posted August 18, 2007 at 02:38 PM I like Hong Kong's narrow streets and its beautiful public parks. Quote

zozzen Posted August 22, 2007 at 03:58 PM Report Posted August 22, 2007 at 03:58 PM I like hong kong in many aspects---efficiency, free speech, the avaliability of most goods, low tax, foods, energy... you name it. But the annoying wet and hot weather, worsening pollution and doghouse-like apartments can drive me away to other countries. Quote
