calibre2001 Posted August 21, 2007 at 04:50 AM Report Share Posted August 21, 2007 at 04:50 AM I came across this in Jay Chou's 一路向北 where basically the first line is 後視鏡裡的世界 越來越遠的道別. I understand that it means sight glass (spectacles?) or viewing mirror and probably mirror in the above context. But in general I'm not quite sure what 視鏡 means. Hope you people can help out! yuanruithomas Posted August 21, 2007 at 08:39 AM Report Share Posted August 21, 2007 at 08:39 AM Here it's 后視鏡,not 視鏡,but 視鏡 does existed.視鏡is a very rare word.It means a indispensable thing that is used to observe the flows of gas, liquid, steamand so on in a pipeline.视镜能随时观察管道中液体、气体、蒸汽等介质的流动反应情况,是保障正常生产 不可缺少的附件。
