kudra Posted August 24, 2007 at 04:13 AM Report Posted August 24, 2007 at 04:13 AM I just saw an ad at the bottom of the chinese-forums page for www.language-pod.com, learn to speak like a secret agent. The list languages they offered courses in looked suspicious. Yes, it turns out the sample audio for the Chinese course is taken from the public domain course developed by the US govt. and which is available for free download at fsi-language-courses.com Why pay $24 for a download of what is already available legally, paid for by US taxpayers. Totally unethical in my opinion. if anybody has an account over at fsi-langugae-courses.com and wants to alert them feel free. Quote

roddy Posted August 24, 2007 at 08:56 AM Report Posted August 24, 2007 at 08:56 AM Hit the 'feedback' link at the bottom left of the image ad and send a report into Google - won't have any adverse effect on me. I guess I'll ban their ads as well, it is a bit cheeky . . . Quote
