Eden7 Posted August 25, 2007 at 11:30 AM Report Posted August 25, 2007 at 11:30 AM open your "Temporary Internet Files" when the video finishes the loading. There will be a ".flv" file there, then that's it. copy the file to somewhere and execute it. Quote

student Posted August 25, 2007 at 08:24 PM Author Report Posted August 25, 2007 at 08:24 PM I've found what I believe is the correct file (it grows in size as the video downloads in the youku viewer) but it is a temporary file. I can't copy it while the browser window is open, and it is automatically deleted when I close the browser window... Any (further) help would be appreciated! Quote
PinYin55 Posted August 26, 2007 at 01:04 AM Report Posted August 26, 2007 at 01:04 AM I can't get to the website, but if they are flash videos (like youtube), you can use a firefox plug-in called "videodownloader." It works like a charm, and it convenient for downloading all kinds of internet videos. Quote
student Posted August 26, 2007 at 01:00 PM Author Report Posted August 26, 2007 at 01:00 PM I tired this - it just downloads the 43kb shockwave player... not the actual movie file Quote
