The New York Times learns to speak Chinese

I saw this pointed out here (saw the link at ESWN):

The New York Times is starting a series of articles on China's environment.

The notable thing about the series is that they are including MP3 audio summaries of the articles in Mandarin. Hopefully they'll do this for more articles about China...

Strange they don't provide the Mandarin transcripts but interesting, anyway.
