ineedsomecheese Posted August 30, 2007 at 09:58 AM Report Posted August 30, 2007 at 09:58 AM I live in Beijing, and on a recent trip back to the States, I brought back my X-Box. Stupidly, I first tried to plug it straight into the wall here in China, and it blew a circuit, knocking out the power in my apartment. I then went to an electronics store and picked up the adapter to make the American plug work in the Chinese socket, but now the X-Box is dead. I know there's a good chance it's fried for good, but cost of repair vs. buying a new 360 is drastic, and I have seen Chinese people with the know-how fix a similar problem pretty easily (a building supervisor repaired my hotplate that had the same problem). In other cities, I have seen plenty of video game stores selling X-Box and PS2/3, and I'm sure these guys would be happy to try fixing it, but I'm new to Beijing and I just don't know where to look. Can anyone tell me where to find a video game retailer that could do repairs or an electronics repair place in Beijing? Thanks in advance. Quote
