nice hotel in BJ for backpackers

Hello, My friends are comming to BJ soon. Can somebody recommend me a nice hotel/hostel in old Bj area, maybe in old hutong around Houhai, something fancy but for backpackers with the atmosfere od old BJ.

I found an old hutong hostel for my brother last month, called Templeside House. Quite cheap and they really loved the style of the place. Also the hostel arranged good travel packs to the Wall etc. They recently opened a second location, that's where my bro stayed at.
