Andy^| Posted September 3, 2007 at 11:44 PM Report Posted September 3, 2007 at 11:44 PM Hi, I'm leaving for Beijing on Wednesday to study mandarin for 6 months and I'm just wondeirng if there is any kind of restrictions to what you can access and do on the internet when living in a Tsinghua University dorm? For exampel access google or wikipedia or swedish newspaper websites? and can I get in trouble for using programs such as BitTorrent and other p2p programs? Thanks in advance Andy Quote
zerolife Posted September 3, 2007 at 11:54 PM Report Posted September 3, 2007 at 11:54 PM if you pay for full access (90 yuan a month) then you can access any websites and also p2p. I had utorrent and eMule open all the time. There is also a much cheaper option where you can only access Chinese websites however, you should definitiv go with the flat rate full access option.
