Is this correct? Talking about school material

我现在读的是马克思的共产党宣言还有一本是自然科学历史中很伟大的理论。

I feel like this is a bit awkward, but I can't think of a better way to say it.

I think it is ok, but adding a comma or two might help. Also, mentioning the name of the second book might make it appear more complete ("more complete", how illogical, haha). Like -

我现在读的是马克思的共产党宣言，还有一本是自然科学历史中很伟大的理论，就是達爾文的進化論。

I think this may be more in accordance with the rules of Chinese:

- 我现在正在读马克思的《共产党宣言》，还有一本关于自然科学历史的理论巨著- 达尔文的《进化论》。
