Hm, I only know 小白脸, the male lover a 小三 takes for when her main man is with his main woman. Not sure if that word also works for a married woman, there's probably a specific word for that.

Yeah, they're very proactive about accepting most submissions, but others linger around for months on end. Maybe adding more citations might help?

Just been to see someone off at the airport (Daxing for the first time) and it seems the word for check-in is now 值机, not sure when that became common. Last time I flew myself is nearly two years ago and don't recall it being used then. Seems it's being used for hotels too: https://baike.baidu.com/item/值机/10127128
