Ah the medical, you might be lucky and don't have to do it, or you might have to do the whole thing all over again in Hangzhou. Welcome to China! 

 

 

There is wireless Internet access everywhere on campus, including the dorms. Don't worry.

However, it's not free of charge. Also, when you get your username, you cannot be logged in using the same username on both your phone and iPad. You should get a router or pay double (two usernames) or be logging in and out.

Will bedcover, pillow, sheets etc be given or do I have to bring them?

 

When arriving in Hangzhou, is it possible to get a dorm room the same day or should I look for a hotel/hostel for the first few nights?

 

The people at the international college office speak English, right?

Yes, you don't have to use them if you don't think it's hygienic though.

Don't worry about it. The International College dorm is also a hotel.

Worst case scenario: they might ask even people who are on a scholarship to pay for the days before registration. Last year they let me move in before I registered, not asking for any money. Maybe this year they will try to make some money out of scholarship students.

Can I get accommodation in Zhejiang university hostel even before the registration date? 

 

What will be the charges? Should I pre-book the room/ or can i just reach the hostel and get a room?

 

I will reach Hangzhou at 11pm.. Is that ok if i enter the hostel at midnight asking for rooms??

I have already arrived in Hangzhou and I live in the dorm now. So far, I didn't have to pay for the room, but I have a scholarship and don't know how it is without.

I sent them a mail one week in advance to make sure therewould be a room and when I arrived, it all worked very well. But I'm in dorm 31, don't know about the other one.

I tried to get wifi, there's one all over the campus, but you need a student's id to get registrated and you willonly get this after registration in two weeks.
