Please help me figure out the chengyu(?) in Fearless at the end...

Hi there all, I have watched Fearless a few times and for the life of me I cant figure out quite what they are saying when Huo Yuanjia fights the Japanese chap at the end and he gets all heroic. As near as I can make out its something like duxia fuxi, duxia buxi ??? its supposed to mean strive to better oneself or something... also is this a chengyu? any help would be greatly appreciated... cheers
