zhongguotong Posted October 9, 2007 at 02:23 AM Report Posted October 9, 2007 at 02:23 AM Hello, please excuse me if I'm being obtuse - I can't find where to input my signature, and I also can't upload an avatar (there's nothing like a browse / upload button). Any ideas? Cheers Quote
roddy Posted October 9, 2007 at 04:25 AM Report Posted October 9, 2007 at 04:25 AM Considering your organization seems to be running two accounts and both posts so far have included irrelevant links to your own site, I'm not sure I'm going to tell you . . . Ah go on then. Signatures and avatars don't become available until you're moved up to full membership, which happens after an indeterminate number of useful posts. Quote
zhongguotong Posted October 9, 2007 at 04:58 AM Author Report Posted October 9, 2007 at 04:58 AM Yeah I know that was a little cheeky. Would a nice link from our site to yours make up for it? Admin Edit: No You can find it at the name of our site.. pseudo-link removed (look i even resisted writing it as a proper link) Quote
imron Posted October 9, 2007 at 05:49 AM Report Posted October 9, 2007 at 05:49 AM Would a nice link from our site to yours make up for it?Forums policy on linking to your own site is reasonably clear.Either: 1) Become an active and useful member of the forums and then include a link in your signature, or 2) Purchase advertising. esz Posted July 17, 2010 at 03:26 PM Report Posted July 17, 2010 at 03:26 PM Sorry if this is not the right topic to post in - but I'm trying to understand this forum better and I don't want to open a new topic just for this So my question is, that although I didn't upload any avatar, there's a pic displaying as an avatar next to my posts when I'm viewing the forums while being logged in. (If I'm not logged in, then I don't see any avatars at all, but I assume that's normal.) Can anybody explain the reason to me for this? Thanks~ Quote
roddy Posted July 17, 2010 at 07:14 PM Report Posted July 17, 2010 at 07:14 PM Did you create your account with your Twitter or Facebook log in? The settings here (on the left) may be what you need. Quote
esz Posted July 18, 2010 at 08:48 AM Report Posted July 18, 2010 at 08:48 AM Oh, now that you mention it, it might be my twitter-account... I've already forgotten about that I even have one, because I didn't use it since registration Thanks very much. Quote
