Can't get a signature or avatar?

Hello, please excuse me if I'm being obtuse - I can't find where to input my signature, and I also can't upload an avatar (there's nothing like a browse / upload button).

Any ideas?

Considering your organization seems to be running two accounts and both posts so far have included irrelevant links to your own site, I'm not sure I'm going to tell you . . .

Ah go on then. Signatures and avatars don't become available until you're moved up to full membership, which happens after an indeterminate number of useful posts.

Forums policy on linking to your own site is reasonably clear.

Either:

1) Become an active and useful member of the forums and then include a link in your signature, or

2) Purchase advertising.

Sorry if this is not the right topic to post in - but I'm trying to understand this forum better and I don't want to open a new topic just for this

So my question is, that although I didn't upload any avatar, there's a pic displaying as an avatar next to my posts when I'm viewing the forums while being logged in. (If I'm not logged in, then I don't see any avatars at all, but I assume that's normal.)

Can anybody explain the reason to me for this?

Did you create your account with your Twitter or Facebook log in? The settings here (on the left) may be what you need.

Oh, now that you mention it, it might be my twitter-account... I've already forgotten about that I even have one, because I didn't use it since registration Thanks very much.
