Hi CDN,

I will look into the BOC credit card, My fiancee had an international card with them to use in Europe and it still had the minimu deposit issue. So I will check it out ,perhaps there are lots of Euro credit cards.

have fun,

Simon:)

Good luck, Simon. If you're still having trouble finding a suitable credit card, let me know and I'll ask my friends for specific details.

I forgot, how do we add/edit?

Is it possible to do TABLE ?

I am thinking of a table for different banks, to input english interface, charges etc.

So far ICBC seems the only one with English interface in China.

Things seem to be working as they should - just tried both from my admin account and a test account with normal user permissions. I seem to recall noticing that the recent changes link was missing at one point, but that also seems to be back now. If anyone's having trouble let me know and I'll see if I can figure it out. The permissions for the wiki are a bit complicated and have to be set on a site-wide, forum and user basis.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this before...

For those from Germany, open a Postbank SparCard 3000 Plus Direkt. Even though its a savings account you get a VisaPlus card which can be used charge-free all over the world (wherever there is a VisaPlus sign) for the first 10 (or 12?) withdrawals. After that its about 5EUR per withdrawal.

The exchange rates are excellent too (unlike with credit card withdrawals).

You cannot withdraw more than 2000EUR per calendar month which is fine for most people's needs.

I've found VisaPlus ATMs to be all over the place (at least in China, India, Japan, South Korea as well as Europe).
