Sgt_Strider Posted October 11, 2007 at 03:12 AM Report Share Posted October 11, 2007 at 03:12 AM I'm not talking about the PPC, but the smartphone edition of Windows Mobile. This OS doesn't support touchscreens. I heard some poeple are using this software for Chinese input. I know a bit of Hanyu pinyin so that shouldn't be a problem with this program. However, I'm not sure how Cantonese input works on this thing. I e-mailed tech support and they said the software only support Standard Cantonese pinyin and not Jyutping. What is Standard Cantonese Pinyin and how does it work and or differ from Jyutping? Also, Pleco dictionary doesn't work on the Smartphone edition of Windows Mobile. Which dictionary do you guys recommend? This is the only other alternative that I have found: http://www.hnhsoft.com/Talking-English-Chinese-Dictionary-for-Windows-Mobile-Smartphone Does anyone here know which dictionary HNHSOFT is using for their program? I'm guessing it's not Oxford.
