Sgt_Strider Posted October 11, 2007 at 03:56 AM Report Posted October 11, 2007 at 03:56 AM I'm wondering what is the best Chinese dictionary for Windows XP and Vista? Ideally the dictionary would use a famous dictionary publisher like Oxford as its source. I'm currently using Google Chinese IME for XP and Vista, but the software only support hanyu pinyin. Are there any Cantonese IME for XP and Vista? Ideally it'll support the Cantonese romanization methods like Jyutping and or Yale. Thanks guys! Quote
skylee Posted October 11, 2007 at 05:52 AM Report Posted October 11, 2007 at 05:52 AM Not sure about IME, but if I wanted to use Cantonese input method I would simply use the online function provided by mdbg.net (based on jyutping) -> http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/webime2.php?ime=jyutping_trad There are many online dictionaries and many threads on this subject. Which dictionary is the best will depend on your language proficiency, needs and taste. Quote
