leifkarlen Posted October 21, 2007 at 03:36 PM Report Posted October 21, 2007 at 03:36 PM Hi, Does anyone have experience changing to a different university for the spring semester while maintaining a CSC scholarship? I am currently at Heilongjiang University in Haerbin on a CSC scholarship. Although Haerbin is great for learning Chinese in many respects, I am already in the 高级班 (high level class), which is the highest level the university offers (although it's not really that advanced). This leaves me wondering what class I would take in the spring. If possible, I would like to try to transfer to a university that has a wider range of courses. Any similar experiences? Quote
Qcash3 Posted October 21, 2007 at 05:07 PM Report Posted October 21, 2007 at 05:07 PM I think you would have to talk with the school admins about that. As far as I know, the visa that you have is tied to the school that you are studying at. Although a friend of mine had his school changed by the CSC council right before he started studying at the school. The best bet would be to ask the CSC people in Beijing. Quote
