moving to macau, more about macau

hi there,

i plan to move to macau in the years to come.

i plan first to purchase a property there which will be my permanent residence.

what are the alternative channels that one can take in order to settle in a foreign land, besides being an expat (i am not an expat).

i will appreciate it if anyone can briefly give me an updated info about immigration law of macau, any websites i can go to for the info,etc.
