aafrophone Posted October 26, 2007 at 07:02 AM Report Posted October 26, 2007 at 07:02 AM how is this radicals written? the chuo4, number 162 from the list on http://www.yellowbridge.com/language/radicals.html . when i say written, i mean physically hand-written, any pictures would be great. i've tried writing it different ways but it usually ends up looking sloppy like for instance in the character 邊 i have trouble writing it. (and also on a side question, when i see characters such as 邊 typed, sometimes they have two marks on the upper left corner and sometimes one. which is correct?) 謝謝你們 -阿福羅頭 Quote
imron Posted October 26, 2007 at 08:01 AM Report Posted October 26, 2007 at 08:01 AM FYI, that radical 辶 is known as 走之儿(zǒuzhīr), rather than chuò. Chuò is the pronunciation of 辵. See here for an animation of the character 过, which also includes this radical. Note that this radical is always written after you've written the rest of the character. Also, for a handwriting sample, check out the first character on the fifth line of this image (originally posted by skylee in this thread) Quote
