playing music in beijing and where EXACTLY is the boulder bar

Hi,

I just got here to start a mandarin course on Monday. I managed to bring my guitar with me as I find i miss it after about a fortnight.

Playing on my own is ok but I was wondering if there are any open mic nights?? or other places that I can play music and meet musicians. I'm only here till dec 6th else I'd be looking to start a band, but if there anyone would just like to meet to play I'd be happy with that too.

Also I'd just started climbing in the UK so brought my shoes. So i went looking for the boulder bar last night and walked all the way down Bai zi wan lu without spotting it. I'm not the most observant of fellows it has to be said. Can anyone pin-point it more accurately for me? or perhaps give me an address I could hand to a taxi driver?:help

Thanks

There's an open mic night in Lush (above the bookstore that's across from Wudaokou station) . I believe it's on Sundays, but you might want to doublecheck that.

I thought D22 did as well, but can't see anything about it. Might not be a bad place to meet musicians though.
